Ron Parker collapses in a stairwell after experiencing palpitations and shortness of breath. He is diagnosed with WPW syndrome, a congenital heart rhythm disorder with an extra electrical pathway in the heart, and undergoes catheter ablation to correct it.

Cynthia exhibits disinhibition, motor skill issues, and word-finding difficulties. Brain imaging reveals atrophy in frontal and temporal lobes consistent with behavioral-variant frontotemporal dementia, which she has been hiding from her ex-husband Ron.

Miles, a young boy, is bitten by a coral snake while playing in a hayloft. He presents with lethargy, hypotension, drooling, dilated pupils, and difficulty breathing. Initial polyvalent antivenom is ineffective because coral snakes are elapids, not pit vipers. He requires specific coral snake antivenom.

Murph presents with migrating pain throughout his arm, chest, neck, and stomach, plus tingling in his hand. After extensive workup, he is diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome caused by compression of nerves and blood vessels between the first rib and collarbone.

During a D&E procedure following fetal demise, Lizzy experiences severe hemorrhage due to a boggy, non-contracting uterus. Upon opening, extensive uterine necrosis is discovered, ultimately requiring an emergency hysterectomy to save her life.

Lizzy, who is pregnant via IVF, comes to the hospital for indigestion. Ultrasound reveals no fetal heartbeat. The baby had died approximately a week prior without Lizzy realizing it, requiring a D&E procedure.
