Teresa Brotherton fell down stairs while carrying her baby, suffered a tension pneumothorax requiring needle decompression in the ER, then coded twice during surgery. Dr. Hahn performed multiple emergency surgeries including bringing OR equipment to patient's room for high-risk repair of lung perforations. Patient ultimately died despite aggressive intervention.

Eight-year-old intentionally swallowed eight magnets hoping parents would get divorced. Magnets attracted through intestinal walls causing multiple perforations requiring emergency surgery by Dr. Bailey to locate and remove magnets and repair damaged tissue.

Patient five days post-bowel resection unable to have bowel movement, distressed about loss of normal function. Treated conservatively with laxatives and eventually resolved.
