Jack, a musician who heroically saved a woman from subway tracks, presents with loss of consciousness, abnormal EKG, pneumonitis, ear pain, seizures, and fever. The diagnosis is eventually revealed to be adult chicken pox contracted from his daughter who was a carrier during a school outbreak. Adult chicken pox presented atypically without the characteristic blisters or itching.

Chloe has a seizure on the subway platform which leads to Jack rescuing her from the tracks. She is described as epileptic and was held overnight for observation.
