Jackie's opioid addiction is the central focus of the episode. She is arrested for drug trafficking, undergoes sedated detox with naltrexone at Bellevue, experiences withdrawal symptoms in jail (dehydration, tachycardia, vomiting), and attempts to maintain sobriety while fighting to keep her nursing license and job.
