Wes is a schizophrenic patient and artist who stops taking all his medications after Dr. Turner (Violet) is suspended. He experiences severe paranoid delusions about machines controlling people's minds, leading to a psychotic episode and collapse on the street. His mother refuses long-term institutionalization despite medical recommendations.
