Mr. Simon is a terminally ill cancer patient who is extremely hostile to staff. He goes into respiratory arrest and dies despite resuscitation attempts. His death triggers a Morbidity and Mortality conference where JD's care is reviewed, ultimately concluding the care was appropriate but raising questions about whether JD's response to the patient's difficult personality affected his treatment approach.
