Lindsay is a teenage patient originally diagnosed with epilepsy at age 10 by Dr. Cox. Her seizures have returned because she stopped taking her medication (Dilantin) as an act of teenage rebellion and need for control. Dr. Reid successfully addresses the underlying psychological issues by giving Lindsay autonomy over managing her own medication.
